The Alspaugh room, located in the Sheppard House, is an expansive, yet warm room that takes up an entire wing of the house. This second-floor room, with colors of crisp, navy blue and orange, is inspired by the home’s storied past. It features a king-size bed, desk, and cozy swivel chair and has an amazing view of Ludlow and the street behind the inn that is lined with beautiful West End homes. The ample bathroom is lined with windows and includes double pedestal sinks, a clawfoot tub, substantial walk-in shower and oversized antique Victorian mirror.

The Baldwin Double Queen room is a second-floor room in the Sheppard House with décor inspired by the historic time period in which the house was built. It takes up an entire wing of the house and even has its own foyer. The room is adorned with blush pink and baby blue shades. Two queen beds make up the ample bedroom that includes an antique desk. The expansive bathroom has a great view of Ludlow house and is decorated with charmingly intricate bird tile that is a precise replica of Victorian transferware tile imported from England; it has its own private foyer; a rainforest shower with two shower heads and clawfoot soaking bathtub complete the space.
The Bethabara room, decorated with an English garden theme, is located on the first floor and features a spacious room with a king-size, brass bed with a comfortable sitting area. There is a vanity for getting ready. The striking red fireplace (non-operational) is a focal point of the room with its original tile and cover from the early 1900s. The en-suite bath features a shower and pedestal sink.
The Camel City room is located in the Sheppard House. Its décor is inspired by the beach, with colors of seafoam green and seashell pink that transport you to the sea. The bedroom features a king-size bed, desk, and cameo back settee. The en-suite is complete with a spacious walk-in shower decorated with tile that is a handmade replica of famous Arts and Crafts artist William De Morgan’s peacock border.
The Chesterfield Grand Suite is located on the first floor. Its historically inspired décor is finished with hues of yellow and pale blue. This expansive retreat has a king-size bed and spacious bathroom with a clawfoot tub and large walk-in shower, elegantly decorated with a row of green diamond tiles. A unique addition to the room is a private porch with table and chairs that looks out onto the woodland garden and historic West End neighborhood; it is ideal for relaxing and sipping on wine in the evening or coffee in the morning.
The Columbian Heights room is located in the Ludlow House. It once belonged to Mrs. Ludlow and is a second-floor beauty with historically inspired décor and gorgeous stained glass windows that offer a view of Summit Street, St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and 5th Street. The stunning carved archway that leads into the bathroom is original to the home. The room offers carefully renovated accommodations with a comfortable, king-size bed, desk and private bathroom with sizable walk-in shower.

There is also a remarkable yellow fireplace (non-operational) with original tile and cover from the early 1900s.The private bath awaits you and is only a few steps down the hall; it includes a tub/shower combination and pedestal sink. This room can become a two-room suite when joined with the Wachovia room, if you are traveling with family or friends.
The Reynolds Loft is a cozy oasis with vaulted ceilings, skylights and sage green tones. This third-floor loft has a king-size bed and extra privacy, as it is the only bedroom on this floor. The large bathroom is outfitted with a clawfoot soaking tub and spacious walk-in shower, as well as a charming vanity and skylights where you can see the limbs of the great trees that surround the house peaking through.
